Apartment Leasing Consultant

Join our team at Grandridge Apartments in Omaha. Experience in leasing, Yardi, and being bilingual is a plus.

Pay

$17–21 per hour depending on experience, plus up to $100 per lease commission (uncapped).

Schedule

Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility to work some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and lease apartments to prospective residents.
• Conduct property tours and process rental applications.
• Manage prospect follow-up and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of leasing techniques, sales methods, and Monarch policies.
• Ensure model and target apartments are show-ready.
• Report market survey results and competitive shopping data to the Property Manager.
• Maintain curb appeal of the property.
• Complete application information, create lease documents, and facilitate signings.
• Maintain physical and digital resident files in Yardi.
• Update Property Information Handbook and Advertising Log Book.
• Use required telephone etiquette and produce a daily “Hot Sheet” on rental rates, sizes, locations, and amenities.
• Assist Property Manager in ensuring current, accurate, and relevant property marketing.
• Conduct daily marketing efforts through Craigslist and other outreach.
• Contact and follow up with apartment locator services and local businesses.
• Assist in building and maintaining a resident relations program.
• Adhere to Monarch Professional Behavioral Standards.
• Complete additional assignments and projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience in multi-family housing.
• Demonstrated computer skills and ability to navigate industry software.
• Basic knowledge of local, state, and federal resident/property management laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Willingness to complete online training required by Monarch.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
