Apartment Leasing Consultant

About the role

Apartner is hiring multiple Apartment Leasing Consultants in Gainesville. As a Leasing Consultant, you will engage potential residents, help them find their perfect home, and manage administrative duties related to leasing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and provide information about leasing options
• Address resident inquiries and manage administrative duties
• Work closely with your team to meet occupancy targets
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster positive relationships with residents

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in leasing within the multifamily housing sector
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
• Proven sales ability to drive leasing efforts and achieve occupancy targets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills and ability to address resident inquiries and resolve complaints
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Willingness to undergo a background check

Nice to have

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) to assist a diverse range of residents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
