Duties/Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist prospective tenants; schedule and conduct property tours.
- Help process lease applications and ensure all requirements are completed.
- Prepare, review, and execute lease agreements.
- Aid in move-in and move-out coordination.
- Maintain accurate resident and property records in AppFolio.
- Process rent payments and respond to resident questions in a professional and timely manner.
- Support marketing efforts to promote the community and improve occupancy.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and property operations.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, prospects, and team members.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn property management software.
- Basic understanding of property management practices and compliance requirements.
Education And Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience required.
- Multifamily leasing experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Fair Housing Certification required within the first 30 days of employment; training will be provided.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to walk the property and climb multiple flights of stairs in various weather conditions.
