SUMMARY

Bear Real Estate Group is looking for a motivated and customer-centric Leasing Agent to showcase their new property, The Intersect, located in Madison. This position requires weekend availability to accommodate high-demand viewing times.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Show units to all prospects
  • Maintain condition and cleanliness of make-ready units and tour path
  • Conduct pre-move-in unit inspections
  • Answer the telephone and provide customer service
  • Process rental applications
  • Prepare lease documents and handle lease signings if necessary
  • Communicate with applicants regarding application status
  • Accumulate traffic information from various sources and prepare a consolidated report
  • Perform market studies quarterly to maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends
  • Create social media content and newsletters
  • Support current residents regarding tenancy and assist with requests
  • Audit all tenant files

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two to four years related experience or equivalent
  • Customer service: Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, WI CCAP, TransUnion, and various rental search websites. RealPage experience a plus
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • Well organized with ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals
