About the Role
Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking a Apartment Community Bookkeeper at Westminster Apartments & Townhomes in Greenwood, IN. This is a permanent full-time position.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $18–$21/hour + bonus potential up to $400/month
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Assists Property Manager with posting, collecting, tracking, and managing delinquency of rental and other income
- Assists Property Manager with processing all invoices generated by the property
- Consistently attempts to collect "Bad Debt" prior to write-offs
- Assists Property Manager with evictions related to non-payment of rent
- Assists Property Manager with property financial operation reporting
Qualifications
- Accounts payable experience or other relevant experience/training is strongly preferred
- Must have demonstrated ability to record receivables, payables, and journal entries as assigned
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and initiative
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Experience with Yardi or other multifamily accounting programs preferred but not required
