AP-Vendor Management

Responsibilities

• Contact vendors via phone and email to obtain updated ACH/EFT payment information.
• Collect and review vendor documentation, including banking forms, W-9s, and supporting records.
• Validate ACH payment details in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform vendor callbacks and other verification activities to mitigate fraud risk.
• Document all communications and validation activities.
• Update vendor records within the company's ERP or financial system.
• Maintain project tracking logs and status reports.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in vendor information.
• Identify duplicate or incomplete vendor records and escalate as needed.
• Partner with Finance, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project objectives.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and data security standards.

Skillset / Experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented AP Vendor Data Validation Specialist to support a short-term vendor payment information validation project. This role will be responsible for contacting vendors, collecting and validating ACH payment details, updating vendor records, and maintaining accurate documentation to support payment processing and audit compliance. This is a fast-paced, project-driven assignment requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience with Accounts Payable, vendor maintenance, or financial operations.
