AP Specialist

About the Role

LaSalle Network is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a growing technology solutions organization undergoing significant expansion and systems integration. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys collaborating across multiple departments while driving accurate, efficient accounts payable operations.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices while performing accurate 2-way and 3-way purchase order matching, resolving invoice discrepancies, and ensuring timely payment processing
• Manage the full vendor payment cycle, including ACH, wire, check, and virtual card payments, while maintaining vendor records, W-9s, and onboarding documentation within NetSuite
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate payment discrepancies, and support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and audit requests
• Partner with Procurement, Operations, Sales, HR, IT, and Accounting to resolve invoice and payment issues while supporting evolving ERP processes and system integration efforts
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable workflows, strengthen internal controls, enhance operational efficiency, and review and process employee expense reports through Ramp

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment with strong knowledge of invoice workflows, vendor reconciliations, and month-end close support
• Strong ERP experience required; NetSuite experience highly preferred, with exposure to ConnectWise or comparable systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage Intacct) a plus
• Experience with purchase order processing, including 2-way and 3-way matching
• Exposure to expense management software such as Ramp preferred
• Intermediate Excel skills with strong attention to detail, organization, communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments and adapting to evolving systems, processes, and organizational changes

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $24–29/hour (heavily based on experience)
• Employment Type: Contract (6–12 Month Contract)
• Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (Onsite during training, with potential for a hybrid schedule afterward)
