Responsibilities
- Prepares invoices/credits from vendors for payment by: Verifying accuracy through written approvals
- Researching variances
- Analyzing exception issues to determine correct resolution
- Communicating effectively with internal and external resources for information
- Manual processing
- Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders related to product costing
- Resolves distribution center shipment receipts against invoice costing
- Reconciles vendor account statements and maintains open transaction tracking for audit
- Affords assistance to Accounts Payable Manager/Supervisor to identify and implement process improvement
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- At least two years of related experience or training in a high-volume accounts payable role
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong computer skills; including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
