AP Specialist
About the role
As our AP Coordinator, you will be part of financial operations and the Accounts Payable (AP) department plays a crucial role in keeping the system running efficiently. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team and contribute to the accurate and timely processing of vendor payments. This role is vital to maintaining smooth financial operations, fostering strong relationships with our vendors, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and enter invoices into the system, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing.
- Reconciliation: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices, and collaborate with vendors to address payment issues.
- Payment Preparation: Process and prepare payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Vendor Communication: Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve any invoice-related concerns.
- Credit Card Reconciliation: Handle monthly reconciliation of company credit cards.
- Expense Management: Understand expense accounts, cost centers, and related compliance issues (e.g., sales tax).
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s preferred.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Knowledge: Proficiency in financial principles, accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical skills; strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently; proficiency in English and MS Office; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay
This pay range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the starting hourly compensation for this role at the time of posting. The actual rate will be determined based on a combination of factors including experience, qualifications, work location, and internal pay alignment, in accordance with applicable laws.
