This Accounts Payable Manager opportunity offers the chance to join a well-established, growing real estate organization in a high-impact leadership role. As the Accounts Payable Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day accounts payable function, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient payment processing across multiple entities while partnering closely with Accounting, Treasury, and Operations.

This role is ideal for an experienced Accounts Payable professional who enjoys leading teams, improving workflows, and operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-volume, multi-entity Accounts Payable department
- Lead, mentor, and develop Accounts Payable staff while ensuring workload is balanced and deadlines are consistently met
- Manage vendor onboarding, payment processing, check runs, ACH/wire payments, and vendor relationships
- Review and approve invoices, payment batches, voids, reversals, manual payments, and exception items
- Partner with Treasury and Accounting to ensure accurate cash management and timely disbursements
- Oversee month-end AP close activities, reconciliations, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and vendor documentation requirements, including W-9s and 1099 reporting
- Analyze AP metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and internal processes
- Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor inquiries and complex AP issues
- Support audits and special projects while maintaining accurate financial records
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience managing a high-volume, multi-entity Accounts Payable function
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle Accounts Payable processes, vendor management, reconciliations, and 1099 reporting
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with experience working in ERP systems
- Property management, real estate, or corporate accounting experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
