About the Role
The Accounting/Billing Clerk provides clerical support necessary to accurately invoice customers. General supervision is exercised by the supervisor for invoice processing.
Overall goals include maintaining professionalism, understanding billing procedures and systems, providing excellent customer service, building solid working relationships, and following all safety rules.
Responsibilities
- Process daily invoices
- Organize and maintain corresponding paperwork
- Maintain billing reports and files according to established procedures
- Provide collection efforts on past due invoices
- Create and maintain professional relationships with customers
- Answer customer inquiries in a timely manner and resolve issues efficiently
- Research discrepancies
- Assist with front office phone coverage as needed
- Work with other departments and upper management as needed
- Assist in other duties and projects as assigned
- Be aware of Aquafil's Recycling Guidelines and Environmental Management Systems Policy

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education strongly preferred
- 1-3 years of experience working in a business setting, preferably in Accounting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software: Email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Schedule
Regular hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
