AP Associate
Job Summary
The accounts payable (AP) department keeps Montauk's financial system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers. We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Correspond with site managers concerning PO receipting and invoice approvals.
- Preparing invoices, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
- Reviews vouchers for proper field approval.
- Aid AP Manager with weekly check run.
- Aid with set up of new vendors.
- Filing of paid invoices.
- Aid with internal and external audit requests.
- Assist with special project requests from Accounting Department.
- Maintain relationships with vendors.
- Review statements and resolve/request copies of invoices.
- Occasionally enter vouchers into Microsoft Dynamics.
