AP Associate

Job Summary

The accounts payable (AP) department keeps Montauk's financial system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers. We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

• Correspond with site managers concerning PO receipting and invoice approvals.
• Preparing invoices, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
• Reviews vouchers for proper field approval.
• Aid AP Manager with weekly check run.
• Aid with set up of new vendors.
• Filing of paid invoices.
• Aid with internal and external audit requests.
• Assist with special project requests from Accounting Department.
• Maintain relationships with vendors.
• Review statements and resolve/request copies of invoices.
• Occasionally enter vouchers into Microsoft Dynamics.
