Responsibilities
- Process employee travel reimbursement requests.
- Process invoices in the consumer services procurement system (CMS).
- Complete and forward TD Bank signature card updates as requested.
- Interact with the Comptroller General's Office, VR employees, and vendors to resolve problems with bill payment, travel issues, and reimbursements.
- Approve documents in AP workflow.
- Sort and distribute mail to the appropriate individual or department.
- Issue refunds per policy.
- Facilitate travel reimbursement guidelines to new employees during new employee orientation.
- Serve as backup for other Accounts Payable Accounting Technician III positions as needed.
- Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma and two (2) years of experience in an entry-level accounting or bookkeeping position.
- If invited to interview, please obtain your official 10-year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles to bring with you.
Preferred Qualifications
- Official transcripts will be required to verify college degree.
- Knowledge of general bookkeeping and accounts payable principles and best practices.
- Good mathematical and computational skills.
- Ability to perform accounts payable or accounting-related functions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
