AP Accountant

Responsibilities

• Invoice preparation and completing the vendor invoice package within 2 business days.
• Ensure that all agency policies and procedures are followed.
• Coordinates, prepares, and verifies supporting documentation to ensure accurate and timely invoice package preparation and general ledger recording.
• Input vendor invoices in accounting software.
• Serves as liaison between MERS/Missouri Goodwill and vendors.
• General ledger maintenance and aids with month-end closing.
• Performs monthly aging review with Accounts Payable Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required.
• Experience with General Ledger accounting is required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel.

Pay

Hourly rate: $23.00 - $25.00
