AOI Operator for Printed Circuit Boards

Responsibilities

• Operate AOI equipment including downloading and processing data.
• Follow all AOI inspection procedures.
• Perform First Article and In-process inspections.
• Understand set-up and use of Polar Impedance tester (will train if necessary).
• Update jobs in tracking system and sign traveler.
• Ensure PCBs meet customer and internal documentation requirements.
• Notify production supervisor when deliveries cannot be met.
• Notify supervisor if any capacity limitations or production bottlenections arise and recommend solutions.
• Cordinate and communicate with production supervisor and other departments to meet production schedule deadlines.
• Notify supervisor of any equipment issues or lack of maintenance.
• Has authority to stop the process. Notify supervisor immediately to determine if a Corrective Action is needed.
• When supplies are needed, fill out and submit a Material Request form to supervisor.
• Deduct materials used from the material usage module.
