What You Can Expect
At Omni Aircraft Maintenance, you will be the face of Omni Aircraft Maintenance when operators need us most. You will respond to Aircraft-On-Ground events throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding geographic areas, completing time-sensitive repairs with the professionalism and precision our customers depend on. No two days are the same. What stays constant is the standard: safe, compliant, and done right the first time.
This is not an entry-level position — work is performed independently with minimal oversight.
Your Role in the Field
- Immediate AOG Response
- Provide 24/7 AOG response throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding geographic areas.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with customers throughout each AOG event, providing timely and professional updates.
- Cookordination status and support with Omni’s Maintenance Control and leadership throughout every event.
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate — required.
- 5+ years’ experience maintaining business jet aircraft.
- Part 145 Repair Station background preferred.
- Must own a complete set of aircraft mechanic’s hand tools.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be insurable under OAM’s auto insurance policy.
- Real ID required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a background check, criminal history review, MVR, and pre-employment drug screen.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to bend, squat, and climb ladders; work on elevated surfaces.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including high-noise environments.
- Routine and repetitive physical motion with arms and hands; standing and walking for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Some travel required.
