About the role

The Manville Preschool Program and its community partners are seeking passionate, talented, and experienced preschool teachers to join their growing program. Our ideal candidate must enjoy working with students aged 3 and 4 years old.

Responsibilities

• Design instruction to meet the needs of the children so they can all meet their individual milestones in preparation for kindergarten
• Plans and implements weekly lessons based on the program curriculum
• Communicates openly with parents
• Works well in a team-based environment
• Able to work flexibly with a collaborative team of staff members and volunteers
• Bilingual a plus

Requirements

• A valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate with the teaching endorsement (P-3)
• A valid NJDOE certificate is REQUIRED (CE, CEAS, or Standard)

Qualifications

A valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate with the teaching endorsement (P-3) is required. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Skills

Experience working with young children, ability to plan and implement curriculum, strong communication skills, teamwork, flexibility, and bilingualism are beneficial.

Benefits

Salary range: $66,000 - 73,000
