Anticipated Paraprofessional

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment including physical intervention as needed according to protocol.
• Candidates with CPI training preferred or willing to train.
• Work as a cooperating member of a team and effectively communicate with students, teachers, parents and administration.
• Positive attitude and dependability are must.
• Willingness or experience working with young children with special needs.

Qualifications

• Current and Valid Paraprofessional License.
• 60 college credit hour or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining Paraprofessional License.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Pay and Benefits

• $17.50/hour starting plus benefits.
• The District can provide additional credit to candidates who have prior work experience.
