Anticipated One Year Only Math Specialist / Teacher

About the role

The Middle School Oyster River Cooperative School District is seeking a One Year Only Math Specialist to work with staff and students. The Math Specialist/Teacher will:

• Implement an instructional program meeting the needs of all students
• Integrate research-based strategies
• Align with the district's math curriculum and the New Hampshire Frameworks
• Provide targeted instruction to Tier II and III students
• Lead the MTSS Team for mathematics
• Implement targeted instruction for acceleration
• Support teachers in math interventions and instructional strategies to raise student achievement

Responsibilities

Works and collaborates with the K-8 Curriculum Coordinator and Instructional Coach.

Requirements

NH teacher's certification in Mathematics, Middle Level to Algebra I/Integrated I.

• Master's degree or higher in a related educational area preferred
• Relevant classroom experience and knowledge in MTSS also preferred
