Math Teacher (1 Year)- CMS
Starting date: Fall 2026. Full-time position (1.0 FTE).
About the Role
Candidates selected to fill the role of Math Teacher at Central Middle School will be given the great responsibility of continuing our long-standing commitment to academic excellence. This will be achieved through the design and delivery of Math instruction that ensures the success of a diverse population of learners. You will build positive relationships and work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff members to foster a positive experience for the entire learning community.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver Math instruction tailored to diverse learners.
- Implement multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies.
- Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment.
- Build positive working relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Utilize current technology to support communication, academics, and student progress monitoring.
Requirements
- Valid MN License in Middle School Math.
- Experience with differentiated instructional strategies that support diverse learners (ideal but not required).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Proficiency with technology used in education.

Pay
Compensation range: $52,308–$123,452, depending on education and experience. See the Wayzata Education Association Contract for details.
