About the role

We are seeking a qualified maths teacher to join our newly formed department at Lift Winton School. The school is part of the Lift Schools Trust, which currently educates over 33,000 pupils across 62 schools nationwide. Our mission is to empower every child to reach their full potential through high-quality education.

Responsibilities

• Drive and improve academic results for our GCSE students, aiming for 90% scoring grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
• Lead and develop the maths department to become the best in Hampshire, fostering an environment of high standards and continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an engaging and ambitious curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
• Maintain high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported to achieve their best.

Requirements

• A proven track record of driving and improving academic results.
• An approachable yet accountable attitude towards teaching and learning.
• A strong commitment to raising standards and supporting students to reach their full potential.
• Experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience in a secondary school setting.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to excellence.

Skills

• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective planning and organizational abilities.
• Experience in curriculum design and delivery.
