About the role
Ancillary duties may include assisting with student organizations, participating in faculty meetings, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics courses aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that are engaging and meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student learning through various methods including quizzes, tests, and projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and activities.
- Maintain accurate records and report grades as required by the district.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mathematics or related field.
- Valid New Jersey teaching certificate in Mathematics.
- At least two years of successful teaching experience at the high school level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
Salary - BA - Step 1 - $72,515 prorated based on length of position.
Schedule
Per annum long term substitute appointments (appointed for 5 consecutive months or more) entitled to health benefits, sick and personal days.
