Anti -Tamper Specialist Foreign Military Sales
Location: Arlington, VA. Full-time day shift with up to 10% travel. Must be able to obtain TS/SCI with Poly clearance. Potential for on-site or remote work.
About the Role
SAIC is seeking an Anti-Tamper Specialist to support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) of space programs in the Space Systems Engineering Directorate (SQA) of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, Space Acquisition and Integration at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. SQA enables enterprise-level space capability integration through program element monitoring and oversight for system-of-systems engineering functions.
This position supports the FMS Branch within the Global Space Enterprise Integration Division of SAF/SQA, focusing on strategically integrating commercial and international partner space capabilities, informing policy development, and strengthening the U.S. space industrial base through collaborative partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Provide anti-tamper oversight and integration with USSF FMS programs, ensuring compliance with Department of War (DOW) policies.
- Offer technical expertise to the SAF/SQA FMS Branch for pre-Letter of Request (LOR) programs, the foreign disclosure process, and evaluation of program Anti-Tamper (AT) plans and strategies throughout the program lifecycle.
- Act as the liaison between SAF/SQA and the Anti-Tamper Executive Agent (ATEA) for space AT requirements and implementation.
- Support the development and implementation of anti-tamper measures for space export programs and facilitate evaluations from appropriate decision authorities.
- Provide expert advice to senior Space Force leadership on developing, maintaining, and enforcing DOW AT policies and procedures to safeguard critical technologies.
- Ensure responses to space FMS requests include considerations for AT measures to protect military systems and technologies.
- Support the review, vetting, and approval of FMS documents such as Letters of Request (LORs), Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs), and Acquisition Strategy Documents (ASDs).
- Develop and coordinate staff packages for SAF/SQ signature to address and implement FMS cases involving AT policy and procedures.
- Support the development and coordination of LORs for Pricing and Availability (P&A) to respond to foreign requests and coordinate answers to related AT questions.
- Assist the customer with Pentagon staff skills, knowledge, and proficiency, recommending priority tasks and implementing process improvements.
- Understand FMS timelines and respond to all requests/tasks in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with fourteen (14) years or more of experience.
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI and eligibility for Poly.
- 7+ years of Anti-Tamper experience.
- 5+ years of Foreign Military Sales experience.
- Experience in security cooperation within the DOW or related experience in planning, programming, budgeting, or acquisition of systems for allies or international partners.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills for decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience.
- 3+ years of space-related experience.
Pay
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
