About the role

While small businesses are not legally required to issue an anti-slavery and human trafficking policy or statement, larger businesses must not only publish an annual statement but also take reasonable steps to ensure their partners comply with these regulations. Having such a policy in place allows smaller businesses to demonstrate compliance to third parties, including potential larger partners.
