About the role

The Department of Anthropology & Geography at Colorado State University (CSU) invites applications for semester-based, in-person teaching positions. Instructors will teach introductory and occasionally upper-division courses in archaeology, cultural anthropology, and biological anthropology. Appointments are made on an as-needed basis, and selected applicants will be contacted directly by the department chair.

Responsibilities

  • Teach in-person undergraduate courses in archaeology, cultural anthropology, and/or biological anthropology.
  • Prepare course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
  • Hold office hours and provide guidance to students.
  • Collaborate with faculty on curriculum delivery and student support as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Anthropology or a closely related field.
  • Prior university-level teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Anthropology or related field.
