About the role

Edheads is a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on STEM education and careers. The accountant will review financial documents, help craft the annual budget, and offer ideas to meet high accounting standards while supporting the organization's mission.

Responsibilities

• Review financial documents and assist in crafting the annual budget
• Help ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Offer ideas to improve the organization's financial practices
• Support the organization's mission to connect STEM education with career opportunities for K-12 students

Requirements

• Lives in central Ohio
• Passionate about STEM education and careers
• A sense of humor and wonder
• Willingness to give a few hours each month
• Experience in accounting and finance

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience with nonprofit financial management
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
