Animal Therapy

Description

Elara Caring, one of the nation’s largest providers of home-based care, is seeking compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.

Pet Therapy Volunteers

• Must have a certified Therapy dog through Therapy Dogs International, West Michigan Therapy Dogs, or Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs.
• Volunteers must provide their own certified Therapy dog's health record (current DHLPP, Bordetella, Rabies, and fecal tests).
• Volunteers must provide their own therapy certification.
• Volunteers must provide a certified liability insurance policy.

Availability

Hours are flexible, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. We typically ask for 1-2 hours per week.
