Animal Site Supervisor

Full-time
We need to output HTML fragment with headings

for sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We must not repeat job title. Remove boilerplate, navigation, EEO, etc. Keep substantive info. We need to parse the posting. Key parts: - Location: Flandreau, South Dakota - Reports To: Director of Model Production - Supervises: Animal Technicians / Farm Animal Clinical Staff - Position Summary: paragraph. - Key Responsibilities: list of bullet points (starting with Manage daily animal care activities... etc.) - Education & Experience: bullet list? Actually paragraph with bullet-like lines. - Desired Qualifications & Competencies: paragraph with bullet-like lines. - Working Conditions: paragraph. - Why This Role Matters: paragraph. - Benefits: paragraph about Kelly benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.) plus retirement savings plan, service bonus, holiday pay, transit spending account, paid sick leave. Also note eligibility may vary. - No explicit Pay or Schedule info. There's mention of weekend rotation every third weekend, may include holidays. That's schedule info. So we can include Schedule section with that detail. Pay: not mentioned, so omit. We need sections: About the role (position summary), Responsibilities (key responsibilities), Requirements (education & experience?), Qualifications (desired qualifications & competencies), Skills (maybe combine? but we can include Skills if there is content; we have desired qualifications & competencies includes skills like self-motivated, problem solver, etc. Could put under Skills. But we also have Qualifications section for education & experience? The instructions: use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we need to map content accordingly. We have: - About the role: Position Summary paragraph. - Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities list. - Requirements: Education & Experience (Bachelor's degree, training/experience, neonatal piglet experience, research procedures experience preferred, supervisory experience preferred). - Qualifications: Desired Qualifications & Competencies (list of traits). - Skills: maybe we could extract specific skills from Desired Qualifications & Competencies? But that section already covers competencies. Could treat Qualifications as those traits, and Skills maybe empty? Better to combine? But instruction: include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it. So we need to decide if we have content for Skills separate from Qualifications. The posting includes "Desired Qualifications & Competencies" which includes both qualifications and competencies (skills). Could split: Qualifications: education/experience; Skills: the list of traits (self-motivated, problem solver, etc.). However we already used Education & Experience for Requirements. So we can put Desired Qualifications & Competencies under Skills. But the heading "Qualifications" could be used for education/experience; "Skills" for the trait list. Let's do that. Thus: - About the role: Position Summary. - Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities. - Requirements: Education & Experience. - Qualifications: maybe we could leave empty? But we have Desired Qualifications & Competencies which could be considered Qualifications. However we already used Requirements for education/experience. Could shift: Requirements: Education & Experience; Qualifications: Desired Qualifications & Competencies; Skills: maybe we could extract specific technical skills like "animal care guidelines", "laboratory procedures", "swine anatomy", "ECG", "ERG", "sterile fetal harvests", "C-sections", "genotyping", "embryo handling". Those are in responsibilities. But better to keep Skills empty? But we must not emit empty heading. So we either omit Skills heading if no specific skill list separate. The posting does not have a distinct "Skills" section besides those embedded. Could we create Skills from the list of competencies? Might be okay but risk of duplication. The instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So maybe we combine Qualifications and Skills into one section? But headings are prescribed; we can still omit Skills if no distinct content. Let's omit Skills. - Benefits: Kelly benefits paragraph. - Schedule: weekend rotation every third weekend, may include holidays. - Pay: not present, omit. We also need to include location, reports to, supervises? That's metadata; we can fold into a short

under About the role maybe. Or we could include a short paragraph with that info. The instruction: do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. So we can include location, reports to, supervises in a short paragraph after the position summary or as part of About the role. We must remove boilerplate: EEO, legal, etc. Also remove "Why Kelly® Science & Clinical?" and "About Kelly Work changes everything." etc. Also remove "Please note: The following benefits reflect Kelly's general offerings." but we can keep benefits specifics. However we need to remove the sentence about eligibility may vary? That's minor metadata but could be kept? It's not boilerplate; it's about benefits eligibility. Could keep but it's not essential. Might keep as part of benefits paragraph. We must preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep all bullet points under Key Responsibilities exactly as given (maybe rephrase? No, preserve). Keep education & experience lines exactly. Keep desired qualifications & competencies lines exactly. Keep working conditions paragraph. Keep Why This Role Matters paragraph. Keep benefits details. We must not include duplicated lines. Ensure we don't repeat. Now craft HTML. Structure:

About the role

Site Supervisor - Flandreau, South Dakota. Reports to Director of Model Production. Supervises Animal Technicians / Farm Animal Clinical Staff. We are seeking a Site Supervisor to lead daily animal care, research activities, and farm operations at our Flandreau, SD facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, research quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The Site Supervisor will oversee animal care and research protocols, supervise and train staff, support surgical and clinical procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate facility activities. All animal care and research activities must be conducted in accordance with applicable USDA, AAALAC, FDA, NIH, GLP, and other relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.

But we need to avoid repeating the job title as heading; we already have heading About the role. It's okay to include title in paragraph. Now Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, direct, and perform research protocols, including body condition scoring, weight collection, therapeutic dosing, necropsies, and anesthesia administration.

  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete daily animal care, clinical, and research responsibilities.
  • Participate in the facility's weekend rotation, generally every third weekend, which may include holidays.
Note: The last bullet about weekend rotation could also go to Schedule section, but it's also a responsibility. We could keep it there and also have Schedule section maybe duplicate? Better to move it to Schedule section to avoid duplication. But we must preserve all substantive information; moving it is fine as long as we keep it somewhere. We'll keep it under Schedule. Thus remove that bullet from Responsibilities. Now Requirements:

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Biology, Veterinary Science, or another relevant technical field, or equivalent related experience.

Training or hands-on experience in laboratory procedures and animal care guidelines.

Previous experience caring for neonatal piglets and adult swine.

Previous supervisory, team-lead, or staff-training experience is preferred.

We could use

Now Skills: we could omit if no distinct content. Let's omit. Now Benefits: we have paragraph about Kelly benefits. We'll make a
list of benefits. Benefits text: "Kelly offers eligible employees voluntary benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, term life, whole life, accident insurance, critical illness, a legal plan, and short-term disability.
