Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintenance of pet suites, condos, general boarding areas, and kitchen
- Feeding and watering pet guests
- Monitoring and charting every pet guest
- Laundering duties
- Assisting other associates and performing other duties as needed
Requirements
- Possess a love of animals
- Displays a professional manner at all times
- Ability to work evenings, weekends & holidays
- Lift/carry 40 pounds or more
- Able to stand/walk for eight hours a day
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work on a computer system
- Able to handle dogs on leashes and work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions.
Qualifications & Job Functions
- Possesses essential job functions such as welcoming both human and pet guests, following safe handling procedures, checking in and out of pet guests, escorting pets to and from their rooms, working individually and as a team player, maintaining cleanliness, communicating with management and other team members, sanitizing/disinfecting pet suites, condos & general boarding areas, monitoring and accurately charting consumption and elimination of every pet, reporting any concerns to management, providing individual care of all boarding guests, feeding and medicating according to instructions, and performing activities as scheduled.

- Checks in and out of pet guests while providing excellent customer service
- Escorts pets to and from their rooms
- Works both individually and as a team player while performing duties
- Contributes in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility

- Sanitizes/disinfects pet suites, condos & general boarding areas
- Correctly identifies animal body language/behavior
- Makes sure to monitor and accurately chart consumption and elimination of every pet and reports any concerns to management
- Provides individual care of all boarding guests
- Feeds and medicates according to instructions
- Performs activities as scheduled
Required Education
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- At least 1 year of professional animal experience
Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
