Angiography Technician - Cath Lab

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician during peripheral or neuro diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Perform radiographic work on various types of radiographic equipment.
• Aid in patient care and safety within the Interventional Radiology lab environment.
• Rotate call for emergency procedures with a 30-minute response time.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program.
• Current certification with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Radiologic Technologist license from the Ohio Department of Health.
• BLS certification.
• Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and facilitate teamwork.
• Independent judgment and initiative.
• Ability to work in high-stress situations.
• Ability to work closely with and anticipate patient and physician needs.
• Quickly troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to work long days and call hours.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year recent hospital Angiographic/Interventional Radiology, or Surgical Radiology Technologist experience.
• Preferred 1 year recent hospital angiographic interventional experience.
