Weekend and holiday call required; rotating call schedule with applicable call pay and callback premium compensation.
What You'll Do
- Providing procedural support as a circulating, scrub, or monitoring technologist
- Operating angiography and interventional imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Preparing patients for procedures and verifying patient identification and orders
- Aiding physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Maintaining sterile technique and adhering to infection prevention standards
- Following radiation safety practices to protect patients and caregivers
- Managing procedural supplies, equipment, and documentation
- Monitoring patients throughout procedures and communicating relevant information to the care team
- Supporting post-procedure care, including hemostasis management and sheath removal as appropriate
- Maintaining a safe, organized work environment
Minimum Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current state licensure
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of Angiography, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or related procedural experience
- Vascular/Interventional Radiography certification
- ACLS certification
- Experience working in a hospital-based procedural setting

Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. Includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for a long time.
