Anesthesiology - Locum Tenens

About the Role

Pediatric Anesthesiologist providing anesthesia care for a variety of cases in a 195-bed hospital with Level 3 Trauma designation.

Responsibilities

• Perform own cases including OR procedures, C-sections with CRNA assistance, emergency C-sections, urgent cystoscopy, and acute abdomen cases.
• Manage approximately 10-12 patients daily.
• Work shifts from 6am-3pm.
• Provide night and weekend call coverage.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Louisiana medical license or IMLC license (reimbursement provided after 10 shifts).
• Proficiency in common procedures and ability to operate independently.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system.
