About the Role

Provide locum tenens anesthesiology support in a healthcare facility, managing anesthesia for adult, geriatric, and occasional pediatric patients during surgeries. Includes call duties on weekdays and weekends, utilizing the EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Manage anesthesia for surgical procedures across adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.
• Perform call duties on weekdays and weekends.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient management.
• Deliver anesthesia care primarily in operating rooms with a focus on adult and geriatric patients.
• Collaborate within a healthcare team to ensure perioperative medicine excellence.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must hold or be eligible for a Maine medical license or IMLC acceptance.
