About the role
Anesthesiology provider supporting a healthcare facility with locum tenens coverage.
Responsibilities
- Providing anesthesia services mainly for adults and geriatrics, with occasional pediatric cases, during weekdays and on call shifts including weekends.
- Managing patient care using the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system.
- Deliver anesthesia during surgeries, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with surgical teams across multiple operating rooms.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Required certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Must hold a Maine medical license or be eligible via IMLC.
- Must meet licensing requirements and hold necessary certifications.
Skills
- Strong clinical knowledge in perioperative medicine.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Proficiency with EMR systems.
