Job Summary

Los Robles Regional Medical Center is seeking a Program Director to lead their anesthesia residency program in Thousand Oaks, CA. Qualified candidates should currently serve as program director or core faculty in an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency or related fellowship.

Candidates

• Candidates must be ABA board certified and have completed an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency prior to the start date.
• Experience must include specialty expertise and at least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience, preferably in an undergraduate and/or graduate medical education environment.
• Experience must include ongoing clinical activity.
• Candidates must be willing to combine administrative and didactic (teaching) responsibilities.
• Candidates must have strong leadership and team building skills.
• Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Candidates with recent scholarly activity – such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educational organizations – are highly encouraged to apply.
