Anesthesiology

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care with an emphasis on evidence-based medicine.
• Engage in patient care outside operating rooms, including Ambulatory Care, Pain Management, and Preoperative Clinics.
• Teach residents and medical students.
• Participate in faculty meetings, Grand Rounds, quality assurance programs, and departmental initiatives.
• Contribute to research, education, and service to advance departmental goals.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Hold an MD, DO, or equivalent.
• Board eligibility or certification in Anesthesia.
• Possess or be eligible for a California Medical License or equivalent.
• Fellowship training or advanced experience beyond residency is required for higher academic ranks.
• Demonstrate dedication to medical education, patient safety, and quality care.
