Anesthesiologist - Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center - Full Time

About the Facility

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is a new, acute-care facility currently under construction, expected to open in October 2022. It will provide residents of Lancaster and York counties with access to Penn State Health’s expertise and specialty services closer to home. The facility will include 132 private patient beds, 10 observation beds, and is expected to employ about 700 healthcare workers. The supervision model is 1:2.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)

Pay

Salary: $525,000 annually

Sign-on Incentive: $100,000
