Anesthesiologist - HSHS St. Francis Hospital Litchfield - Full Time

About the Role

Opportunity for a Chief of Anesthesia to practice in a highly autonomous environment. Blended team model with physician and CRNAs sharing call and personally providing anesthesia. Diverse case mix which affords the opportunity to utilize regional anesthesia skills.

St. Francis Hospital is a Catholic not-for-profit health care facility and an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System. Established in 1875, the hospital serves a two-county area with a full range of medical services, including surgery, cancer care, state-of-the-art imaging, rehabilitation, and maternity services—the only hospital in the area providing them.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)

Pay

Salary: $520,000

Sign-on Incentive: $50,000
