Anesthesiologist - Prime St Marys Hospital - Full Time

Anesthesiologist position at PRIME St. Mary’s Kankakee Hospital in Illinois, featuring a diverse case mix. The 182-bed acute care facility has delivered high-quality healthcare to Kankakee and its southern suburbs since 1897, offering award-winning primary and specialty care. The hospital includes a nationally recognized peritoneal dialysis unit (one of only 91 in the U.S.) and a state-of-the-art Family Birthing Center. The anesthesia team operates in a collegial environment, supporting five or six operating rooms daily with a care team model that includes three anesthesiologists and seven CRNAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)

Case Assignments & Schedule

• Ortho, GI, Urology, OB, Ophthalmology, and General Surgery
• Position includes call

Pay

Salary: $625,000 with a $75,000 sign-on incentive.
