Anesthesia Veterinary Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Anesthesiologist with patient preparation, induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and anesthesia logs.
• Support surgical and specialty teams as needed.
• Provide compassionate care to patients and clear communication to clients regarding anesthesia procedures.
• Follow strict safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT)
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• 2+ years of anesthesia experience.

About the Role

VCA Aurora Animal Hospital is growing its team and seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to work closely with our Anesthesiologist. Schedule: Full-time, 4 x 10 hour shifts. Compensation: $30 - $36/hr, and the starting range is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field.
