Anesthesia Technician Supervisor

About the Role

This position provides clinical and administrative support in anesthesia services, assisting with patient care, preparation, and equipment setup for surgical, obstetric, and diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists with patient monitoring, invasive procedures, and equipment setup.
• Prepare anesthesia supplies, monitors, and airway support devices.
• Troubleshoot monitoring equipment and respond to OR needs during procedures.
• Manage inventory, stock supplies, and maintain anesthesia equipment.
• Act as a preceptor for new staff and support team coordination and scheduling.
• Participate in process improvements focused on safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification.
• Two years of anesthesia tech experience.
• Knowledge of anesthesia procedures, equipment setup, and basic anatomy.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and respond to varying clinical situations.

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate monitoring and anesthesia equipment.
• Effective communication in a high-pressure environment.
