Aids licensed anesthesia providers in patient care and equipment monitoring. Responsibilities include cleaning, sterilizing, setting up anesthesia equipment, assisting with patient care tasks, maintaining equipment, and managing inventory.
Responsibilities
- Cleans, sterilizes, and sets up anesthesia equipment
- Maintains patient safety by monitoring, transporting, positioning, inserting IV and other invasive lines, and managing airways
- Performs daily maintenance on equipment and resolves malfunctions
- Ensures adequate supply of equipment and supplies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Minimum 6 months of healthcare experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision
