Responsibilities
- Aid anesthesia providers in positioning patients and equipment.
- Place non-invasive monitoring devices on patients.
- Plan, set up, calibrate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs to anesthesia equipment.
- Anticipate additional equipment and supplies needed in emergency situations.
- Clean, disinfect, and reassemble anesthesia equipment.
- Stock, restock, and order supplies.
- Perform quality control checks on required equipment.
- Dispose of hazardous waste.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and supply inventory.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- High School graduate.
- CPR certification required.
- Knowledge of medical terms preferred.
- Mechanical background preferred.
- Must be flexible, detail-oriented, and able to set and balance priorities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations effectively.
