About the role
The Andrologist position at IVF Florida in Margate, Florida is available now. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a nationally respected organization while maintaining close connections with patients and teams.
Responsibilities
- Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and reporting patient test results.
- Perform chemiluminescent immunoassays on serum samples using automated equipment.
- Conduct semen analyses including sperm count, motility, morphology, and viability.
- Maintain aseptic techniques during routine sperm preparations and ICSI procedures.
- Manage laboratory supply inventory and perform regular replacements and maintenance.
- Document PT samples according to the laboratory's established protocols.
- Adhere to quality control policies and document all activities, calibrations, and maintenance.
- Identify and address issues affecting test performance and report findings promptly.
- Participate in laboratory meetings and proficiency testing programs.
- Attend skill enhancement programs as directed.
- Work weekends as needed during patient stimulation cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science.
- At least 1 year of laboratory experience, preferably in reproductive/fertility settings.
- Proficiency in andrology and endocrinology procedures.
- Strong laboratory skills, attention to detail, and excellent documentation abilities.
- High interpersonal skills, particularly in handling sensitive and confidential situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Self-starter with adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in continuous quality improvement, customer service, and team building.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.

Pay
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekends required when patients are in cycle and the ability to float to additional locations as needed.
