Ancillary Sales - The Pavilion at Star Lake
Job Summary
Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s leading live entertainment company, comprising Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. The Pavilion at Star Lake is seeking Night of Show Ancillary Sellers to communicate additional amenities to guests.
About the role
This role involves greeting guests, promoting and selling ancillary services, assisting with setup and breakdown, and closing the venue after shows. It is suitable for someone with guest service experience and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests and assist with answering questions
- Promote and sell ancillary services such as Premier Parking, Fast Lane, Clear Bags, Blankets, Lawn Chair Rentals, VIP Club Access, VIP Seat Upgrades, Cabanas, etc.
- Absorb tickets or passes to verify authenticity
- Handle credit card transactions according to Live Nation's guidelines
- Balance out at the end of each shift with a supervisor
- Inventory and count physical items before and after the show
- Fill in temporarily with other departments during peak or break times
- Partner with band members to collect recyclables and store event equipment
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in guest service and communications
- Prior sales or cash handling experience is a plus
- Familiarity with iPhone and iPad technology
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
- A strong attention to detail, outgoing personality, sense of teamwork, and ability to execute programs
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+, and occasional sitting in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
