Role: Anatomic Pathology Laboratory Manager responsible for overseeing daily laboratory operations in Houston, Texas. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise laboratory teams across technical and non-technical functionsLead staff development, performance management, and succession planningCoordinate staffing, workforce planning, scheduling, and labor utilizationImplement technology solutions and leverage data analytics to enhance efficiency, quality, and turnaround timesEnsure compliance with regulatory standards including CAP, CLIA, and other federal, state, and corporate requirements Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical TechnologyMinimum of 5 years of experience in anatomic or surgical pathology operationsAt least 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a clinical laboratoryStrong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and applicable regulationsASCP certification preferredPrior experience with the lab's operational standards is advantageous
