Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of a high-volume GI laboratory, ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal room utilization
- Lead, train, and supervise laboratory and support staff; manage schedules, coverage, and performance
- Partner closely with physicians, nursing, anesthesia, pathology, and administrative teams
- Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and Allied Digestive Health policies
- Prepare and Pass regulatory inspection by CAP and CLIA.
- Monitor quality metrics, productivity, and operational performance
- Use SharePoint, Power BI and/or Excel to track volumes, staffing, and performance data; prepare reports and presentations
- Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support budget management, inventory control, and vendor coordination
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Laboratory Science, Biology, Life Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a high-volume Lab
- Proven experience managing staff and operations in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards
- Skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, SharePoint and Power BI preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
