About the role

Responsibilities

  • Train and experience in a university or large health system setting that includes residency and fellowship programs.
  • Subspecialty training and expertise in cytology, gynecologic, gastrointestinal and/or thoracic pathology.
  • Signed out more than 100,000 surgical cases and biopsies annually.
  • Integrated with Clinical and Molecular Pathology services including next generation sequencing and FISH.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school.
  • Licensure requirements eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.
  • Certification by the American Board of Pathology is required.

  • Minimum Licensure Requirements: Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.
  • Minimum Certification Requirements: Certification by the American Board of Pathology is required.

Skills

Pay

Salary range: $293,292 - $496,530. The pay rate offered is determined within the pay range and is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance measures.
