About the role

We are seeking an Analytical Clinical Chemistry Scientist to join Eurofins PSS, part of Eurofins Scientific, an international life sciences company with over 950 laboratories in 60 countries and approximately 63,000 employees. Our team works with leading international companies across the pharma, medical device, food, cosmetic, and consumer products industries, providing mission-critical testing services at client sites across 20 countries.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, execute, and troubleshoot HPLC and/or UPLC instrumentation
  • Prepare protein samples, standards, and controls
  • Prepare organic and salt mobile phases as well as acidic cleaning solutions
  • Handle and use micropipettes
  • Gather, process, and record data in an electronic database
  • Thoroughly document standard operating procedures followed and resulting test data
  • Review test results to ensure they meet validity, suitability, and specification acceptance criteria; report any quality anomalies
  • Comply with all quality, integrity, and safety standards outlined through effective policies and procedures
  • Participate in required electronic and in-person training activities
  • Maintain laboratory supplies and routine calibration/verification of instruments and other lab equipment prior to use
  • Interact with outside customers or functional peer groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field with 2-4 years of experience OR MS with 0-2 years of experience
  • Experience running and maintaining HPLCs/UPLCs
  • Experience with MCE and iCEIF assays
  • Knowledge of cGMP
  • Strong technical, computer, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with overtime as needed.

Pay

Hourly rate is between $26.25 and $33.50 per hour.
