Responsibilities

  • Set up, execution, and troubleshooting on HPLC and/or UPLC instrumentation
  • Preparation of protein samples, standards, and controls
  • Preparation of organic and salt mobile phases as well as acidic cleaning solutions
  • Handling and use of micropipettes
  • Gathering, processing, and recording data in an electronic database
  • Thorough and complete documentation of standard operating procedures followed and resulting test data
  • Review of test results to ensure results meet validity, suitability, and specification acceptance criteria; report any quality anomalies
  • Compliance with all quality, integrity, and safety standards outlined through effective policies and procedures
  • Participation in required electronic and in-person training activities
  • Maintenance of laboratory supplies
  • Routine calibration and/or verification of instruments and other lab equipment prior to use
  • Interaction with outside customers or functional peer groups

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field with 2-4 years of experience OR an MS with 0-2 years of experience
  • Experience running and maintaining HPLCs/UPLCs
  • Experience with MCE and iCEIF assays
  • Knowledge of cGMP
  • Strong technical, computer, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Schedule

The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, with overtime as needed.

Pay

Hourly rate is between $26.25 and $33.50 per hour.
